The Campaign for the Digestive Health Institute
A legacy that leads.
A legacy that achieves.
A legacy that matters.
A patient-centered digestive health institute for the 21st century.
The Digestive Disease Division is one of Jefferson’s flagship programs. Under the leadership of Anthony J. DiMarino, Jr., MD, it has grown exponentially over the past 19 years and risen to national prominence. At the same time, the demand for research, treatment and education in the field of digestive health has been growing as well.
We have a singular opportunity to build upon our legacy and continue to lead the way for patient-centered digestive health. We have an even greater opportunity and an obligation to use our unique expertise to help treat more patients and improve more lives.
We need state-of-the-art facilities to match our state-of-the-art care. We need room and resources to educate tomorrow’s physicians. And we need to build the clinical environments that give patients and their loved ones the comfort and convenience they deserve.
Achieving this will enable us to provide increasingly sophisticated yet convenient and cost-effective care for digestive health and ultimately take strides to help cure many of these chronic and life-threatening conditions and diseases.
