Biography

Ms. Melissa DiCarlo has worked in the Division of Population Science, Department of Medical Oncology at Thomas Jefferson University for the past 11 years.  Her work focuses on cancer prevention and screening, including colorectal cancer screening navigation and lung cancer screening program development, with strong experience in using patient engagement for optimal study outcomes. Ms. DiCarlo is currently a doctoral student in the Population Health Program at Jefferson, where she plans to explore the effects of built environment on health outcomes.
