Applied Health Economics and Outcomes Research Fellowships
Center faculty and staff collaborate with the Jefferson College of Population Health’s Applied Health Economics and Outcomes Research Fellowship program in educating and training fellows by including them in ongoing research activities. Currently, fellow Jacquelyn M. McRae, PharmD, is working on a project in collaboration with the Parma Local Health Authority looking at predicting and profiling children at a high risk of hospitalization using the Emilia-Romagna longitudinal database. Fellow Stefan Varga, PharmD, is working on a project in collaboration with the University of Bologna and the Emilia-Romagna Regional Health Care and Social Care Research Agency looking at assessing quality of care at the end of life for patients with cancer using the Emilia-Romagna longitudinal database.
With support from the American Cancer Society, we are collaborating with Scott Keith, PhD, in a project investigating survival benefits associated with angiotensin blockage therapies in pancreatic cancer patients.
