The IS&T Customer Service Center (IS&T CSC) is available to help you with all your mobile device needs. Our team can assist you with troubleshooting a problem with your pager or mobile phone, assist with ordering a new or upgraded device and provide you with information on signing up for an employee discount with AT&T, Verizon Wireless or Sprint/Nextel.

Ordering a New or Upgraded Device

Submit a Service Request for a new or upgraded device.  These requests require departmental approval prior to fulfilling.  CSC staff will review your device options, costs, paperwork and questions.  Current devices include:

  • Apple iPhone 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus or X (iPhone Comparison)
  • Samsung Galaxy S8, S9 or S9+
  • Tablets – Apple iPad, iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro 10.5" or iPad Pro 12.9"

All mobile devices and smartphones are required to have Airwatch installed on them.  Airwatch is a Mobile Device Management (MDM) service that allows us to provide better security for smartphones, tablets and most mobile devices - encrypts the device and a sets a password requirement.  Devices that are Jefferson-owned and follow the current standards will be fully supported.

Personal Devices Accessing Jefferson Resources

Personally owned devices are required to have Airwatch installed on them if they will be accessing Jefferson resources. Airwatch encrypts the device and a sets a password requirement.  To complete that process, please Submit a Service Request. Personally owned devices with the following OS specs will be supported on a 'best effort' basis.

  • iOS 10 and above
  • Android 4.0 and above
