Individual Course Registration

Registering

Students who want to take courses or complete prerequisites before entering a degree program can register for individual courses. All Jeff-At-Night credits are transferrable to the appropriate degree programs.

To register for a course, browse our Course Schedule listed below, and follow the Apply Now link to register online.

Note about Fees

  • All students are charged a Jeff Connect fee, which you can opt out of via your Banner account.
  • There is a $50 laboratory fee.

Online Application Instructions

  • Please be sure to read all instructions at the top of each screen before starting each section.
  • When asked to choose a Login ID, you may, but are not required to, use your social security number. This will help the Admissions Office match transcripts, letters of recommendation, personal statements and other materials accordingly. Otherwise you can create a Login ID of up to 9 alphanumeric characters. You may choose any six-digit number for the PIN number. Be certain to record your Login ID and PIN number.
  • There is a 5-minute inactivity timeout. After which, you will be prompted to re-enter your Login ID and PIN to continue with the application.
  • When entering a date in any section of the application, use the format MM/DD/YYYY, including the slashes.
  • When all sections are complete, select the Application Complete box before submitting the application. If you do not check the complete box, the application will not be submitted to the database.
  • If you receive an error message or have any problems when attempting to submit your application, please contact the Office of Admissions at TJU.Admissions@jefferson.edu or call (215) 503-8890.

There is no cost to register before the first day of class on May 14th. Students who register on or after May 15th will be subject to a $25 fee which will be applied to your Banner billing account. If for any reason you are dropped from a course and need to re-enroll, you will be subject to a $50 fee which will be applied to your Banner billing account.

Challenge Examinations

A challenge examination is equivalent to a comprehensive test of the subject matter covered in a semester-long course, and may be taken to test out of a course. Selected challenge examinations must be passed at the level of academic achievement equal to a grade of B. Exams may be taken only one time.
