Jefferson is one of the few academic health centers that awards a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Radiologic Sciences, offering graduates many career options in the field of radiologic sciences, including opportunities for advancement.


We offer ten concentrations (modalities) and multiple length and combination options for students in our Bachelor's Programs. Choose the options that best suit your future career.

Our executive-style Master of Science trains highly-skilled and flexible practitioners, as well as proficient, qualified directors, administrators and educators. 

Earn a certificate to gain mastery of the technical and analytical skills in specific areas of clinical practice.

April Delikat has been notified by the Varian Company that she has tied for first place in the student division for the  "Eclipse Plan Challenge for Dosimetrists" completed on Friday, June 29, 2018. Congratulations!

Dosimetrists from Jefferson’s Medical Dosimetry Program

The Medical Dosimetry Program in Jefferson’s College of Health Professions has “Top Performers” acknowledged in the 2018 AAMD Breast Plan Study.  The event challenges the international community of physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, and students to develop a radiation treatment plan for a breast cancer with 5 targeted areas requiring a therapeutic dose of radiation. 


Radiologic Sciences Students Participate in Philadelphia Science Festival

Students in the Department of Radiologic Sciences shared the science of electromagnetism by making a simple electronic train from a dry cell battery, magnets, and copper wire and the science of acoustics and sound waves by making “music” with wine glasses

MS in Medical Physics to Launch in 2018

Launching in Fall, 2018, Jefferson's Master of Science in Medical Physics  prepares students to work as medical physicists in hospitals, clinics, or medical schools.
