Tuition: $250/day, $1,200 for the 1st week, $900 for each additional week up to one month, $500 per week thereafter.

Visiting fellows will participate in a comprehensive overview of clinical echocardiography as experienced during a typical day in our laboratory. Routine Echo/Doppler, stress echo (exercise and pharmacologic), contrast echo, transesophageal and intraoperative studies are performed daily and will permit a program tailored to an individual’s needs. Fellows will observe studies being performed. Daily interpretative reading sessions allow the fellow one on one interaction with our staff echocardiographers. An extensive audio visual file, include taped didactic lectures on every facet of echocardiography are available, Cardiac anatomic imaging, noninvasive hemodynamics and left ventricular function quantitation will be emphasized for beginners, with instruction in tissue Doppler, PISA and other quantitative measures for more advanced fellows . Additional exposure to 3D echo and other advanced analysis techniques can be arranged for advanced fellows
