Please note that University Orientation is mandatory for all incoming students.  The University Orientation program is designed specifically for students to give you the best possible start for your time at Jefferson.

In order to better meet the needs of some of our special populations we have established an online University Orientation that provides comparable information and training to what you would experience in person.  Based upon your academic program, you do NOT have a scheduled on-site (in-person) University Orientation.  You will fulfill your University Orientation requirement by completing the online University Orientation.

Students in the following Center City campus programs or with the circumstances noted below will complete the Online Orientation:

  • Jefferson College of Health Professions
    • Department of Occupational Therapy (PP-OTD Program)
    • Department of Professional and Continuing Studies
    • Department of Radiologic Sciences (PET/CT Certificate Program, CT Certificate Program, and Masters of Science in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences)
  • Jefferson College of Nursing
    • DNP Program
    • CRNA Program
    • MSN Programs
    • Post-Masters Certificate Programs
  • Any student that is not able to attend the on-site University Orientation program due to extenuating circumstances and has made arrangements with the Office of Student Life and Engagement
  • Any student that is accepted after their on-site University Orientation program

The online University Orientation will be available as noted below.  Instructions on how to access and complete the online University Orientation will be emailed to you in your orientation packet once it becomes available.
