Leukemia & Lymphoma

We are one of only eight NCI-designated Prostate Cancer Programs of Excellence in the U.S. On the vanguard of prostate care, we were the first in the region to offer a novel immunotherapy treatment and the first to remove the prostate laparoscopically.

Jefferson Breast Care Program and Center is one of the first 30 centers in the country to be accredited by the National Accreditation Program of Breast Centers. We are home to the region’s busiest breast imaging facility—the Jefferson- Honickman Breast Imaging Center—which performs more than 40,000 exams annually.

GI cancers, such as in the liver, colon and pancreas, are among the most aggressive and toughest to treat. Promising treatments for other cancers, like immunotherapy or targeted therapeutics, so far haven’t hit the mark. We are thinking outside of the box. We have the most experienced surgeons and a team in the lab aiming for a completely novel approach.
