Why Tuesday?
After the year’s biggest shopping days on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, GivingTuesday is a chance to stand together and channel our generosity for the greater good. With gifts of all sizes, community members have collectively raised more than $60,000 for Jefferson on GivingTuesday in previous years.

What’s Happening At Jefferson Plaza?
On December 3rd from 7am to 3pm, Jefferson will host a live event at Jefferson Plaza featuring our new Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and Dietz & Watson Community Outreach Unit, treats from Federal Donuts, live music, donation sorting activities and more. Anyone is welcome to join this Center City celebration at 12th & Chestnut Streets! Nonperishable food donations will be collected for Ramily Market, toys will be collected for Cradles to Crayons, clothes will be collected for the Salvation Army, and Jefferson staff will assist interested donors in making a gift.
May I Donate Items?
Yes! In addition to our fundraising event, Jefferson is celebrating with donation drives across the enterprise for clothing, food, supplies and more for our community. Jefferson employees may learn more about their regional drives on Jefferson ONE. Item donation opportunities at our Jefferson Plaza event on December 3rd include:

- Clothes for the Salvation Army

Better Together Funds and Funds for Employee Assistance help employees throughout the Jefferson enterprise. When a member of our employee community faces an unexpected hardship, such as a house fire or a car accident, distributions from these funds can provide support to see them through the challenge.
