Throughout the years, the magnanimous patronage and tireless fundraising of Myrna and Ira Brind resulted in the Jefferson – Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine, a vibrant, comprehensive facility that seamlessly brings together the best of western and complementary medicine.

Uniting these formerly disparate schools of treatment has greatly benefitted Jefferson, the many patients who have already experienced care at the Center, and the countless number of those who will come to Jefferson for treatment in the years ahead. We are proud that the Center now bears the Brind name. We mourn the loss of Mrs. Brind, who passed in 2004, and we are grateful to Mr. Brind for the strong leadership and thoughtful guidance, compassion, and dedication to Jefferson Hospital that he has provided as a board member, board chair, and longtime supporter and friend.
