Beth Duffy, MBA
Beth Duffy has enjoyed a 42-year career as a healthcare executive having served in leadership roles at Einstein Healthcare Network and Jefferson Health.
Throughout her career, Beth has become an expert in all facets of hospital operations. She has led her organizations through multiple mergers and acquisitions, supporting teams to successfully capture economies of scale resulting in expense savings and operational efficiencies.
She led the development of Jefferson Einstein Montgomery from the earliest stages, overseeing the completion of an estimated 100,000 individual tasks involved in the $350 million project. In 2012 she was appointed president and chief operating officer of Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, where she oversaw the operations of the acute care hospital in East Norriton as well as Einstein Physicians Montgomery, a primary care and specialty physician company that included 150 primary care and specialty physicians for over 10 years.
Her key accomplishments included increasing operating performance over her tenure to an 8% operating margin, growing new programs that served the community and resulted in increasing the licensed bed complement from 148 to 195 beds, and recruiting and retaining medical staff that supported inpatient and outpatient growth. With the merger of Einstein Healthcare Network into Jefferson Health completed, Beth transitioned to the role of senior vice president, Administrative Services at Jefferson Health in January 2023. In this role, Beth has overseen Imaging, Pathology and Laboratory Services, Facility Operations, and Biomedical Engineering, along with having primary responsibility for joint ventures and outside relationships across the Jefferson Enterprise.
Beth has served on several healthcare boards including the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.
Beth lives with her husband, Tom, in Montgomery County and enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with their family including three grandchildren.
