A discussion for women, by women, and about women. Join the impressive group of panelists as they discuss women in literature.

Gianna DeMedio sits down with John Scully, Former CEO of Apple, Inc. and Special Assistant to former CEO Stephen K. Klasko for a Q&A related focused on Specialty Care Pavillion.
9:45 a.m. – A Jefferson Original
Watch the celebration of the Walter R. Edmunds, DDS, OMS, SKMC Integrated Program. You’ll see how Dr. Edmunds’ philanthropic gift to Jefferson in 2021 has enhanced the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department.
11 a.m. – Closing the Gap
Watch Jefferson and Novartis Pharmaceuticals share their collaboration to launch “Closing the Gap,” a 3-year initiative designed to address upstream social determinants of health that contribute to adverse cardiovascular outcomes in underserved neighborhoods.

12 p.m. – Setting the Scene: Tips from Hollywood
Get ready to for an exclusive talk with alumna and Emmy Award-winning set decorator Kim Wannop, BS ’99 Interior Design, as she shares the lessons she’s learned on set in hit shows like “The Good Place,” “Veep,” and “Parks & Recreation”, and gives pro tips on how to design any space with a discerning eye.
1 p.m. – Mindful Moment
Take about 20 minutes and follow along with this mindfulness-based stress reduction guided practice of mindful chair yoga.
1:30 p.m. – Wordle
It’s taken the nation by storm! Put your mind to test and participate in Jefferson’s very own Wordle game!
2 p.m. – Jefferson Stories: Improving Lives
Moving first-person narratives from grateful patients, students and faculty about how Jefferson is accepting the challenge to change and improve lives.
2:30 p.m. – Jefferson Perspectives: Physicians and Patients
Touching first-person messages from grateful patients and physicians about how Jefferson is preveting, treating and caring for positive health outcomes.
3 p.m. – “Medice, Cura Te Ipsum (Physician, Heal Thyself)” Extended Trailer Screening
Join us for a screening of the 12-minute trailer version of fourth-year SKMC student, Ryan Emhoff’s documentary film, “Medice, Cura Te Ipsum (Physician, Heal Thyself).” The film researches the mental health crisis among medical students by exploring how their non-medical passions will make them better and healthier physicians.
