Joe Devine recently retired from his position as Executive Vice President and Chief Experience Officer of the Jefferson enterprise. Before that, he served for seven years as President and CEO of Jefferson Health – New Jersey.

Joe knew all of us by name and always had a friendly hello. In recognition of his far-seeing, people-first leadership, we have renamed the New Jersey Employee Assistance Fund, which helps staff facing unforeseen financial hardship get back on their feet, the Devine Fund for Employee Assistance. Putting Joe’s name on something he cares deeply about—all of us—is our way of saying thanks.
