To: Jefferson Emergency Nurses; From: Mai Iam
Nurses are great at Jefferson Emergency (pre-Hahnemann closing). Over ten years ago, I had a dizzy spell that wouldn't go away so I went to Jefferson (diagnosed w Vertigo). However, a homeless man (familiar to the staff) decided being admitted would provide a few warm nights, meals and food. Well, an emergency Nurse provided a bed, fed him, and give him warm clothing and a blanket (after the doctor’s visit). She told him he could rest a bit before the morning rush. I was amazed at her kindness, thoughtfulness, attention to his mental health and her professionalism.  She was wonderful! Hats off to all the Nurses 👊🏼👊🏾👊🏿👊🏻👊
