The Melanoma Research Institute of Excellence (MRIE) works to expand the depth and breadth of research aligned with Jefferson’s clinical strengths. Specifically, we work to:

  • Accelerate the development of novel investigator-initiated trials.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary collaborations in melanoma within SKCC and beyond.
  • Provide a forum for the development of research initiatives via patient outreach events, research retreats, collaborative research meetings, and trainee mentorship.
  • Promote external partnerships with other leading melanoma researchers worldwide.
