Neal Johnston sadly passed away on May 17, 2025 due to complications from uveal melanoma. Memorial gifts can be made in his honor to the Johnston Family Uveal Melanoma Research MRIE Fund at Jefferson’s Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center.
This fund supports the most promising and innovative research projects for uveal melanoma within Jefferson’s Melanoma Research Institute of Excellence (MRIE). By supporting Jefferson’s research efforts, we can contribute to finding better treatments and, ultimately, a cure for uveal melanoma.
