The Road Back to Independence

Since its opening in March of 1958, our mission has been the same—to improve the lives of those with disabilities by providing high quality physical and cognitive rehabilitation services.

Donations support patient programs and services, including art and horticulture therapy, peer mentor and family support services, wheelchair sports, and much more. Charitable gifts also support new equipment for patients, and advanced clinical training for staff.

Community Fundraising

You can support Jefferson by raising funds for your birthday, a sporting event or challenge like a 5K Run, as a tribute to a loved one, or purely your desire to help. Share your story of impact with friends and family to raise awareness and support for our therapy programs and services. Creating your fundraising webpage will ensure that all of the funds that you raise go directly to the program you are interested in supporting.

The Founders Circle

The Founders Circle is made up of individuals who make a gift of at least $1,000 during the campaign year. It can be one outright gift or a combination of gifts during the same year that support the annual fund and events. Gifts of $5,000 or more to the Magee Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation are considered major gifts. Often times, gifts of this size are designated towards a specific program or project. In addition to check, cash and credit card, gifts of appreciated securities are also accepted.
