This event celebrated the recognition of two exceptional individuals, Christine "Chris" Berkowitz and Jermine Mousa, PharmD, aligning with the hospital's mission of "Excellence and Innovation in the Delivery of Healthcare," a core value of the Berton and Sallie Korman Family Prize.

Chris, known for her deep commitment to health awareness and early detection, is pivotal in the hospital. Her dedication to community and inclusivity, especially in her role as Community Outreach Coordinator & Vice Chair, DEI Council, mirrors the compassionate ethos of the Korman family. Her approach to championing inclusiveness and understanding extends her impact beyond professional obligations.

Jermine is an integral member of the Medical Oncology team and embodies the same spirit in her role as a Clinical Oncology Pharmacy Manager. Her resilience, positive energy, and commitment to treating each patient like family resonate with the values celebrated by the Korman family.

The ceremony highlighted the Berton and Sallie Korman Family Prize's role in recognizing professional excellence and heartfelt dedication to making a significant difference in the lives of others.
