How many people are attending the event?
We will have nearly 1000 attendees.
Where do I enter the Pennsylvania Convention Center?
The preferred entrance and Uber/Lyft drop-off location is on Market Street between 11th and 12th streets. For GPS, use 1119 Market Street. Look for the giant Pennsylvania Convention Center sign. You will take the escalator up one flight to the Grand Hall.
Is parking validated?
Parking is not validated for this event. Self-parking is available at parking garages and surface lots within blocks of the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Rates vary. You can find nearby lots and garages here.
What should I wear?
The dress code is business attire.
Is coat check available?
Complimentary coat check will be available at check-in/registration in the Grand Hall, located on the 200 level on the Market Street side of the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
Will I receive physical tickets to the event?
There are no physical tickets to the event. All guests’ names are on a list; please check in at registration.
Sponsoring company/group names will also be listed on monitors in the registration area with their table numbers.
Will tickets be available for purchase at the door?
All tickets must have been purchased in advance.
Is the event a formal, sit-down dinner?
Yes, the 20th Annual Jefferson Gala is a formal, sit-down dinner with assigned seating and tables.
Will there be a program from the stage?
Yes, there will be a program from the stage recognizing Nancy and Jim Baxter with the Award of Merit, and Dr. Nathaniel R. Evans III with the Achievement Award in Medicine.
Who is the beneficiary of the funds raised at the event?
Event proceeds benefit the Honickman Center—our new outpatient center at 1101 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. More than a building, the Honickman Center is a new way to deliver healthcare that’s more convenient, accessible, and customized to you.
