The Pride Clinic, initially funded in 2016 by the Albert Einstein Society, started with one therapist seeing patients part-time. The grant proposal team believed that by providing healthcare services specifically for the LGBTQ+ community, more individuals would seek care. Thanks to grants from the Albert Einstein Society and EcoMedia, the clinic has been able to expand its services. David Jaspan, DO, Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology for Einstein Healthcare Network and one of the grant requesters, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to address the healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community.

The Pride Program aims to fill the healthcare and health education gap affecting the LGBTQ+ community. It offers comprehensive training and education across the network to ensure competent care in all settings. Specialized components of the program create a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals to access physical, social, and emotional care.
