On August 28, 2017, Jefferson College of Nursing launched three new Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs at the Abington-Dixon campus in Willow Grove, PA.  The traditional prelicensure BSN is for students who do not have a bachelor’s degree in any field. Students who have a bachelor’s degree in another field can choose between a one-year and two-year option of the accelerated BSN called FACT (Full-time Accelerated Coursework Track).

All students at the Abington-Dixon campus will participate in the new baccalaureate nursing curriculum which is based on the theme of Health Is H.E.R.E. - Humanistic, Evidence-based, Reflective and Excellence in clinical leaders.  A framework of “Promoting Health and Quality of Life Along the Care Continuum” guides the curriculum. It emphasizes transitions of care from one setting to another and is guided by curricular themes of innovation, population health, interprofessional collaboration and practice excellence.
